I have finally made some changes to my website to include weddings! I had such fun shooting weddings last year I wanted to make it an official part of my site. It is always great being able to shoot outdoors - especially in the fall. However, as the days start to get cooler (as they will this time of year in the Chicago area) I find myself being drawn back indoors. As a photographer, I forgot how much I love window light. It really is beautiful. Children love playing outdoors but they can be just as adorable inside their homes. Here are a few shots from recent sessions where we moved inside for a few shots.
What do you do when you have perfect light and a perfect model? Have a photo session of course. As some children get older they can start to become a little stiff in front of a photographer but she was just so great. A real natural in front of the camera!
I recently had the opportunity to shoot a wedding. Quite a different experince from photographing little ones. It helped a lot having the experience of having to be fast and ready when it comes to doing children's portraits because a wedding can move quite quickly! Overall I was pretty pleased with the results and would love to do another!
So here are some more of my favorite images from earlier in the year. I really can't believe how fast this year has flown by. I have been meaning to start posting a while ago but the time just got away from me. Anyway, better late than never. I love photographing children, the sweet images just make me smile. It was such fun photographing all of these little ones!
