Change of pace: Naperville / Plainfield Children's Photographer

As much as I love shooting outdoors it's sometimes nice to change it up and do some indoor portraits.  The light is always good and you don't have to worry about the weather changing on you!

 

 

  

 

It's been a long time...

since I have posted anything.  Oh how time gets away from you!  I thought I would share some images from this lovely wedding I shot at the Itasca Country Club.  I hope to follow up with some more stuff real soon.

 

  

 

 

 

 

 

Sunny Days

I really shouldn't be complaining given the beautiful 70 degree weather we have been having here in Chicago but today the weather finally returned to what we should be expecting in November.  It's now cold and rainy.  Probably going to have to start photographing a lot more session indoors. Since I haven't posted a session for a while I thought I would post something from a nice warm day.

New Website!

Perfect

It was a perfect summer morning for taking photographs.  Not too warm or too cold.  I also had the most amazing subjects.  These three kids were not only absolutely adorable but they were also a real joy to photograph.  Summer is definately here in the Chicago area and I look forward to many other photo sessions like this one.

Spring Wedding

I had the pleasure of photographing M&M's wedding this past May.  As we all know, spring time in Chicago you never know what the weather is going do.  The day started out a little rough and it looked like stormy weather may put a damper on the ceremony plans.  But it turned around and this wonderful couple was able to have the beautiful outdoor wedding ceremony at the Hyatt Lodge in Oak Brook they had planned.  The reception at Meson Sabika in Naperville was equally as beautiful.  I was really happy for them, they were such a fun couple to photograph and deserve all the happiness in the world.  Here are a few of my favorites:

 

 

 

 

 

 

  

 

 

 

 

 

The Explorers

These two seemed to have such a good time running around and exploring during their photo session.  They were really great kids.  She really didn't want to have much to do with being photographed but I was eventually able to capture those beautiful blue eyes.   

 

The E-Session

Here are some images from a recent engagement session I shot in Chicago.  These two were really great fun to photograph.  The weather was a bit on the chilly side for a May day in Chicago but they were real troopers.  I really look forward to photographing their wedding!

 

    

The Workshop

I just got back from an amazing photographer's workshop.  The trip from Chicago up to Michigan was well worth it.  I felt I learned so much from the experience!  These are some of the images from it:
